Default What about Shazor?

What about Ernest Shazor? Are there some knocks on him I havent seen? Why is he not being mentioned on the board as a pick 20 possibility? I see it go from Bulloch all the way to Jackson to Law to Moving Henry even saw a McQuarters mention. What about Shazor? He's 6'4 runs a 4.4 according to nflfans.com

He's a 6-4 SS type, I think Thomas Davis of Georgia is the far better fottball player. Shazor is a late 2 to a 3 rounder.

Is really a SS and apparently only ran 4.7 at his pro day - may have pulled a hammy in the process.

Not the player we need.

You can say the same thing about Thomas Davis, the other highly ranked SS prospect.

Davis played FS in College

Also has played LB, Interesting to see where he gets slotted in NFL.

strong safety...supposedly weak in coverage...havent heard anything of him having 4.4 speed but I did read a couple places that some teams think he'll have to move to OLB because of his pass defense problems

Davis is a better football player, but isnt very good in coverage either...will have to be a SS and may even move to OLB according to the locals

Woodson SS, Roy FS in 2003 worked.

Davis is better in coverage than Roy, and he hits just as hard. That would make a real nasty center of the field..... I'll leave it up to Bill, I think he could handle FS.
