Default NFL on NBC flex schedule question

i know that NBC can flex crap games for better matchups starting with week 11. in week 13, you have a craptacular colts vs pats matchup. my question is, when would they announce if they are flexing this game?

Considering our recent record on SNF I hope we aren't the team who gets flexed into it.

Cin-city and Pittsburgh or the Giants and Packers look like good options.

i was looking at the schedule and there are 4 great games that day, there is lions/saints, packers/gians and falcons/texans on Fox and bengals/steelers on CBS. I dont know how the whole protecting a game works, but if they can protect one game a week, CBS for sure will protect bengals/steelers. if its a once a year deal, i dont think they will use it up on that game. my guess is packers/giants will DEFINITELY get protected, and since SNF doesnt have any lions games, they will prob end up flexing Lions/Saints
