Default Wiley to visit the Seahawks

Because I just KNOW y'all just can't WAIT to find out what he's up to:

Ends around: Brown, Wiley visit

By Seattle Times staff

Defensive ends Courtney Brown and Marcellus Wiley will be at Seahawks headquarters in Kirkland today to meet coaches and personnel people.

The Seahawks contacted Brown last week after he was released by the Cleveland Browns. The No. 1 overall pick in 2000 has had problems with injuries throughout his career, but he has drawn interest from the Jacksonville Jaguars, Washington Redskins, Denver Broncos and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Browns also would like Brown back — at a much lower price.

Wiley visited the Seahawks during free agency last year but signed with the Dallas Cowboys after Seattle signed Grant Wistrom. The 30-year-old has 44 sacks in eight seasons with the Buffalo Bills, San Diego Chargers and Cowboys.

They make it sound like he was successful at all of his stops.

I will not be suprised in the least if Wiley gets about 8 sacks with his new team.

Does Wiley being successful give us a comp pick next year? If so, I hope he does really well.

Better alert all the women in the Seattle area that "Dat Dude" is headed their way.

NFL Network used him as a correspondent at some Hollywood event and flirted with just about everyone he interviewed (mostly female). I'm sure he added some names to his little black book.

If only he pursued the QB with such enthusiasm.

I think we mis-used Wiley, and he could be successful whereever he goes.

The ironic thing about this is that if he signs with Seattle, it almost certainly takes them out of the running for Darren Howard. So ya see, Dat Dude can still help us, c'mon now, sign with those hawks!

Didn't the Hawks sign Bryce Fisher already? Is Wiley coming in to be a back-up? Either way, I think the Hawks are out of the Howard race. I think Wiley or Brown may be for depth...

Your right WV Cowboy...

Most people don't seem to understand that zimmy WUSS's "occupy & engage" passive & predictable NEVER pressure a QB AWFUL system will never give players good stats...

If we signed Howard, 95% of you guys would be calling him a BUST too after he gets 3.5 sacks...

Its the idiot Zimmy WUSS who is the BUST!
