DOnt forget amny people thought jackson was gone before the 20th pick, look where he landed
I honestly don't follow college football and only know what I've read from scout reports. The best I've heard about him is "he's the next Ray Lewis" and that "Romeo would love to start his reign in Cleveland with him as their pick".

I find it interesting reading the board tonight, two of the biggest play makers on the D side of the ball in college football last year. Pollack & DJ are supposedly falling like rocks. While work out warrios like Merriman without the field production are rising.

I personally believe that at this point, being so close to the draft all the teams are putting out mis-information on who they are truly interested in. I am more likely to believe the guys they are talking negatively about are the ones they are interested in.

To what benefit is it to any team to let you know what they are really thinking, especially when teams they feel may target their guy can move up.

A rumor about the Dallas Cowboys in the Cleveland paper.

Right.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

honestly....you have to take all predraft speculation as just that....speculation. a day or 2 outside of draft day...you actually start to hear some factual things. the good thing is that on draft day...it all sorts out.

i personally like dj quite a bit...i don't think you play as well as he did for 4 years and not have some pretty amazing talent. I see him going somewhere from 11-20.

Linebacker Derrick Johnson is another Texas Longhorns player apparently dropping on NFL draft boards. The Cowboys, for one, question his ability to take on blocks and tackle from the backside. They don't see him as a first-round player.
I will slap both JJ and The Tuna If the Cowboys pass on DJ at #11

DJ is a lock top ten pick and might very well go top 5.

If he is there at 11 and we pass......It better be for Mike Williams or we are really dumb.
