Default My fix the defense draft After last nights Collaps

in the off season we grab OL via Free Agency because we don't want anymore rookie's blocking for Romo and D-Murry.....

last year we invested money in 3 DE's so no DE's in FA or Draft in my opinion....

For the Draft here are the players i want to target in each round and do some moving to get them.

1st = OLB/ILB - Vontaze Burfict or CB / S - Alfonzo Dennard Which ever is available after a trade down to gather more amo for other picks

VB - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cdocwxM0w8
AD - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMxhOjSAFeM

2nd = NT/DE - Dontari Poe DUDE IS A BEAST Remember what Larry Allen used to do for the offense

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXMku4m3twI

3dr = OLB/Rush LB Shea Mcclellin - dude is all over the field

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RFVe8dxfok

4th = FS - Robert Lester, Barron of Alabama gets all the draft pub but in the 4 games i have watched of Alabama this year this is the guy i want from there secondary always around the ball either in the air or on the ground.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjvhYLMdfrU

5th = CB/S - Trumaine Johnson

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twoBOATPVdw

6th = QB - Chandler Harnish, Reminds me of Romo

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFFB5m6Jvbc

7th = BAP - Best available player

I just have no interest in Burfict in the 1st round. He could very well see his stock take a nose dive much like Janoris Jenkins. I could see both of them available into the 2nd round.

We grab OL in free agency. Who? Carl Nicks would be the only one I would want and your talking big money, but then you still need a Center and possibly another OG. Can't fix the OL just via Free Agency. This OL needs to be fixed as well as the defense but your going to have to atleast draft a Center IMO.

Who did we invest money in. Hatcher is about it. Spears can get released and not be a big cap hit. Colman is on a 1 year deal.
I say sign Campbell and draft Kawann SHort if he comes out or Derek Wolfe.

Yes Carl Nicks would be nice and another lower level or just let holland take it if he's got the stones.... Center is fine, several reports all over the internet have stated that Costa has been the best linemen over the past 3 games also in the two mop up games Kowalski played he did a good job.

as for DE you just don't sign people and 1 year later cut them no matter how small the the cap hit... Colman can walk if he wants and i agree someone like Campbell would be nice but expensive, and i feel that you move Ratt out to take Colman's place and draft a big strong NT to start with brent backing them up.. we will be bigger and stronger across the front 3.

Agree i think Burfict is perfect for the LB core... he can play ILB and OLB so you will never know where he's coming from, will give the D a kick in the butt too, we lack that intensity

don't know where you would think Center is fine; and just being the best of our INTERIOR linemen is not much praise at all.

We need a top quality CB in either the first or second round.

Give them a off season of Weight training and i think you will see a better push and holding point of the attack from the center position....

Cost ais awful and was playing bad until he went out last night. Kolwaski actually played better.
Holland is to slow and Koiser is way to weak and starting to get slow.
This team needs young, quick and powerful interior OL.

As for the defense, I think we need a cover CB to replace Newman, a FS that can roam the center, and a powerful passrushing DL.

Look at the best 3-4 defenses.
San Francisco, Baltimore, Houston, and Arizona all have 3-4 DEs that can get to the QB and cause havoc on the OL. See last weeks game vs the Cards.

Gotta go DE/OLB and CB with the 1st 2 picks. They have to be immediate impact makers...not projects. We can't afford to use 3rd and 4th round picks on projects like AOA, Butler, Brandon Williams, Jason Williams, etc. anymore. No more drafting for depth. They started rebuilding that defense with Sean Lee and hopefully Carter, now they need to continue
