mock based on Sundays night performance
We have to get a CB in the first round
I am gone to double dip at CB this year in the draft
First we sign a CB in FA
I really want Ronnel Lewis as our new OLB – he can really deliver a hit
I’d love to get Dontari Poe*, NT, Memphis
Its either Poe or Zeitler in the 3rd
Or sign
FA Aubrayo Franklin (NO) - NT - It was little alarming that Franklin received as little interest as he did this offseason, receiving only a one-year deal from the Saints. He probably won't even garner as much attention as he did last season after moving to a less glamorous 40 front for interior linemen. Depending on his production this year, he could be a nice under-the-radar acquisition.
Paul Soliai (MIA) - NT
or
a OG
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
This my starting O line next year
Free – Nagy – Kowaski –Arkin – Smith
Zeitler
We can get back up OT- QB an ISLer as a UDFA
Josh Oglesby, OT, Wisconsin
J.B. Shugarts, OT, Ohio State
Bryon Coleman, QB, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga
Nate Montana, QB, Montana
Carmen Messina, ILB, New Mexico
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mock
1 Chase Minnifield, CB, Virginia
2 Ronnell Lewis*, OLB, Oklahoma or
Brandon Lindsey, OLB, Pittsburgh
3 Kevin Zeitler, G, Wisconsin or
Dontari Poe*, NT, Memphis
4 Derek Wolfe, DE/DT, Cincinnati
5 Keith Tandy, CB, West Virginia
6 Chris Owusu, PR/KR/SWR, Stanford
6 Jerry Franklin, ILB , Ark
7 Kyle Wilber, OLB, Wake Forest
give me as many OLB and CB's as we need

0/10 because you say you'd sign a CB in free agency.
Go look at who's available in 2012 and tell me who is good enough to replace anyone on this team.

Get Brent Grimes or Courtland Finnegan to play 2nd corner while Jenkins plays #1 while we draft a CB in the first round to play nickel and start once Jenkins glass body breaks again move scandrick to 4th and have t new and ball pack their bags.

Also Aaron Ross and Brandon Carr are FAs. I will pass on Grimes and for sure on Finnegan, both are basic zone CBs.

Is this any better
1 Alfonzo Dennard, CB, Nebraska
2 Brandon Jenkins, OLB, Florida State
3 Kevin Zeitler, G, Wisconsin
4 Derek Wolfe, DE/DT, Cincinnati
5 Keith Tandy, CB, West Virginia
6 Tank Carder, ILB, TCU
6 Tydreke Powell, DT, North Carolina 6-3 #310
7 Chris Owusu, WR, Stanford
oh an before any of you tell me that Crader is an OLB
Pos2: ILB - runs the 40 faster than most ILBers - plus it be nice to have ILBer that could actually cover some one
then I go after Carmen Messina, ILB, New Mexico 6-2 #240
as a UDFA

I dunno much about Dennard. I've seen Jenkins play a lot and he's never really impressed me. Rounds 3, 4 and 6b are great picks. Wolfe is very underrated, IMHO, as is Powell.
Gimme Matt Daniels instead of Tandy.

Dennard is suppose to better than Prince was last year, and rumor has it that the Boys liked Prince, just not a #9.

Then lets hope he's still on the board. Combine will have a lot to do with that.

As a Nebraska fan I can say, without hesitation, that I'm not at all sold on Dennard and I don't know that I believe that he's as good as Prince, let alone better.

Janoris Jenkins is the type of CB we need on the field. As for off the field, thats different.
Jenkins can hit, run support, and is a man cover CB.

we may have to, he can replace Newman day one on the left side and help defend the run. You don't want a CB that is afraid to hit on the strong side. Thats why Jenkins plays on the other side of the field.
Chase Minnifield is the other CB I would want in the first as of right now.
