i know it's highly unlikely, but if he falls to #11 it would be hard to overlook him with our qb troubles dating back since aikman. its becoming more and more obvious that we are looking for a superbowl win now, but still he could be the future. would you take him?

trade the pick for 3rd and a 2nd and a 7 or 6. whoever is the highest, we dont need another oung QB< BP said he still has faith in henson, why ruin his confidece by bringing in another QB.

How do you know, how do you judge a QB who comes from college, to a QB who's been in the system for a year and already has game experince. If BP didnt want to throw Henson into the Fire why would he throw this rookie into the fire. SHow me that SMith is gonna be better than henson then i'll agree untill then thats just an opinion and i doubt BP feels the same way.

Alex Smith = Heisman candidate, very athletic, 3 years of college, smartest QB Ive seen in a LONG time.

Drew Henson = 8 games in college, not near as athletic, unproven

i'll take a NFL QB over college, how many times have i heard a player get all these acclaims and come into the NFL and fail

He played more than 8 games.

He was a good enough athlete to play in two professional sports.

Smith has system QB BUST written all over him.

How is a rookie QB proven?

Frankly, I think Smith will take longer to get ready, though he has a huge upside.

Personally, I'd rather have Rodgers, who's supposed to be a very accurate passer...I saw his game against USC this year, and he was incredible.
