IRVING — Rob Ryan chuckled when a reporter mentioned to him in a Valley Ranch hallway that he got some love from Eagles coach Andy Reid during a conference call with the Dallas media.

“He's probably happy he gets to face another Ryan,” the Cowboys defensive coordinator joked.

Philadelphia will look to improve to 3-0 this season against Ryan-coached defenses when the Eagles (6-8) face the Cowboys (8-6) on Saturday in Arlington.

The Eagles clobbered Rex Ryan's New York Jets 45-19 last weekend to improve to 6-8 and keep their playoff hopes alive. In late October, Philadelphia amassed 495 total yards in punishing Dallas 34-7 at Lincoln Financial Field.

Reid expects a better showing from the Cowboys in the rematch. Dallas is in the driver's seat in the NFC East's three-team chase, which includes the dark-horse Eagles...

There's no right way to do the wrong thing.

To compete for the playoffs, Dallas has to improve here: Only four sacks against Eli Manning over the past six games!
