I'd take RGIII in a heartbeat.

Smarts, athletic, size. The kind of guy that can learn an offense and has the talent to be able to get it done on the field.

He'd need some grooming time but he could be a force.

best scenario for cowboys to get rgiii is for RG to stay in school 1 more year. cowboys are similar to 89 and 90 sesaon, have one more terrible year, jerry jones is patient with jason garrett one more year after this one. Cowboys get top pick in draft to take rgIII, of course that means a losing year in 2012, but that would allow you to get RGIII in 2013.

Kinda like when cowboys got aikman first overall pick.

That way, jason garrett would have some top players in draft last 3 years
2010 Dez, Sean Lee-alike when cowboys got M Irvin & Ken Norton Jr 1988
2011 Tyron Smith, Bruce Carter & Murray,
2012, DeCastro, Top CB or S, C, OLB in first 4 picks

2013 RGIII, and top player with 33rd to 35th player in 2nd rd, & a good 3rd rd pick to boot

Adding in some top FA's in 2012 and 2013, like De from arizona, grubbs or Hicks OG, maybe Griffin S since rob ryan knows him well to play S in our defensive scheme

You already have Fiammeatta at FB, Robinson at Slot WR, some good free agents signed as fas.

then, your back on top, you have your OL fixed like cowboys had in early 90s
You have your defense fixed, possibly a top DE or LB added in 2012 or 2013 way cowboys got charles haley and thomas everett

So, by 2013 to 2017, your knocking on the door of championships like cowboys did in early 90s, with jason garett at the helm as head coach.

If cowboys go get RGIII, if he doesnt come out this yr, something else might happen to, but im not going there. Not sure if any of you looked at schedule for next yr, but we play mostly all teams that have been in playoffs this yr. Thats a murderous schedule and hard to overcome, with a young team that is rebuilding its young offensive and defensive lines. You just have to realize, might take one more yr, for things to fall in place if you all want possible scenario of getting RGIII. Or let me put it another way, if you go get RGIII, what are you going to do with Romo. Tony isnt going to want to sit on bench, and RGIII isnt going to want to sit on the bench.

Washington's freshman OLB was a beast that night, though. He was chasing Griffin sideline to sideline.

I think he wore #22 or #23. Few years off from entering the draft, but if he keeps it up he could be a top prospect.
