Default Griffin Supposedly Going Pro

I guess his dad has basically said it's a matter of "when" and not "if".

I thought he would go back to school to finish up but the article on ESPN says he's only 12 credits shy of getting his masters.

NFLN was talking about the Rams being in the drivers seat and will likely get a king's ransom for their pick, bet it #1 or #2.

If I were him, I would have gone back. I'd take a shot at being a 2 time Heisman winner. Plus finish the Master's.

Not saying he is making a mistake, just what I would have done.

and avoided going to Washington.

Maybe he see's the writing on the wall. It's going to be a loaded QB class next year. His stock probably wont be hotter then it is right now. He could very likely go #2.

At least Washington will have to pay a king ransom to get him.

With only 12 credits to go, he can finish this spring.

2 time Hesiman winner would have been cool but I don't think that in itself is worth going after.

I wish he would have gone back.

Hmm, Cleveland currently at 5 with two #1 picks and a need at QB.

Yeah, the price for Griffin is going to be steep!

What about Miami?

You have Reggie, RG3 in your backfield. That is some serious speed.

If I was a new coach heading into that situation, I am demanding we trade up for him.

Default RGIII to enter the NFL Draft

http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft2012/sto...rces-say<br />

Quote:
Griffin responded to a text from ESPN.com's David Ubben on Sunday and said he has not decided, but Griffin's father, Robert Griffin II, said Saturday night it's a matter of when, not if.

"I met with my son (Friday) and his schedule is pretty much he will attend the Sugar Bowl here in New Orleans (where the Griffins live), then next weekend he will meet with five agents and select the right agent to represent him and plan a good pre-draft process," Griffin II said. "After that he will sit down with three of his coaches at Baylor on Wednesday or Thursday (Jan. 11 or 12) and make it official."

Yes, I hope if Washington gets him they have to give up 2 first round picks and 2 second round picks. Then by the time he gets good he will want to leave that train wreck of a team.

That'll be right around the time Romo will retire.

He hasn't made his decision yet, he refuted ESPN on facebook, they jumped the gun with misinformation, he won't make up his mind until right before the deadline.

And when he chooses to leave we will say, "Yep, ESPN knew what they were talking about."

I hope he chooses to announce his decision during an hour long ESPN special where he tells us that he will be "taking his talents to the NFL draft".
