Tony Romo didn't lead his team to the playoffs this season. But he still has a chance to win something.
Romo is one of the five finalsits for the NFL's Never Say Never Moment of the Year. The award, sponsored by GMC, was created to honor determination and perseverance.
Romo is on the list for his performance in Week Two, when he returned to the game with a fractured rib and punctured lung to lead a comeback victory over San Francisco.

He should get the Comeback Player of the Year award, but since he is a Cowboy and undeservedly polarizing figure, he won't be mentioned.

As awesome as Romo coming back was, I think that either the Raiders or Tebow will win just because one deals with a death, and the other was, well, Tim Tebow.
Thanks YoMick!

He deserves some kind of award for this year.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

I don't know about that. I think pretty much the entire football world took note of that game. Even Jamie Dukes changed his dim(wit) view of Romo after that game.
