Default Looks like Sparano to the Jets

is a lock. Brian Schottenheimer informs Jets he won't return next year, per ESPN.

The Washington Redskins.............where former Pro Bowlers go to suck.

Yeah he'll probably be their new offensive coordinator barring any madness.

Let's hope he is still going to come to Dallas as OC.

Good luck to Sparano. Sanchez will make any coordinator look like an idiot. My guess is he's going to have put all his weight into benching him immediately. Otherwise, he's screwed.

If Schottenheimer goes, and I assume this means his Dad is going to get the Tampa job, then I do think it is a lock he'd go there as their OL/OC coach.

Anyway, NFLN's ticker now says Sparano is going to the Jets.
Ivy League

Jason Garrett offense rank minus Tony Sparano: 18, 14, 7, 15, 15

So is the ESPN ticker as Mortensen is reporting it.

Almost a lock I would say.

Nick folk will be the jets MVP, because all Sparano does is settle for fail goals.

Yep... and Marty Schottenheimer will be the best hire in coaches during the offseason. The guy is one of the most under rated coaches out there...

one would think so however this AM on mike and mike on ESPN adam shefter was on and said that if marty gets hired as HC in tampa it would be very unlikely that his son joins him there

said that brian wants to make his own way and not coach in the shadow if his father

Should we consider him in some offensive capacity since JG/JJ don't want to give out OC title to anyone? I know he had a down year but It looks more like it is on the players than the coach. It reminds me of how Sean Payton was made the scape goat in NYG one year

I am kind of shocked at that speculation by Schefter because Mike Mularky got the Jags job, so Brian's options are somewhat limited if he didn't join Dad.

I personally think Oakland should grab Marty, and try to land Brian. I agree with Tricky that Marty is under rated. Imagine him getting revenge twice a year on AJ Smith.

That might be the best move by the raiders we have seen in quite a while.
**** JJ 2013 Draft Board ****

2) DB ... need to replace Jenkins
