Default lets discuss this scenario

Kirkpatrick - taken
DeCastro - taken

now what? who is your next target? would you rather take the 3rd option or trade down?

I am afraid this is the scenario we will be given come draft day

vontaze burfict???? rob ryan will probably love the guy. And he would add a physical crazy SOB to our defense that needs a guy to play passionate and etc. But he has maturity issues on the field. But boy i love the way he hits.

Melvin Ingram*, South Carolina, DE (6-2, 276): Ingram is the most athletic and versatile defender on this list. He is a former high school running back with exceptional quickness and rush skills. He can play multiple spots along the front, which makes him an ideal fit in a 3-4 scheme.

or

Mercilus Whitney*, Illinois, DE (6-4, 265): Whitney will garner the one-year wonder tag after surging from a single sack in 2010 to 14.5 sacks in 2011, but his raw talent and athleticism is hard to ignore. Scouts will have to decide if that production is sustainable.

Trade down and grab Janoris Jenkins. I don't care if he is a knuckle head he is the most physically talented db in the draft.

Id take Kuechly assuming he's there. BPA takes affect in this scenario in my opinion.

If we really were considering a move to the 4-3 (which I don't think we are) then Luke Kuechly or possibly Vontaze Burfict at 14.

I want to see Upshaw's Combine numbers. Most likely, I'd consider a small trade down, even if it's only picking up a 2013 pick, and take my pick of whichever OLB the staff has graded higher out of Upshaw, Ingram, and Nick Perry.

I'm playing w/ this idea:

L1. Cordy Glenn -CB
2. Chase Minfeild CB
2. Bruce Irvin - OLB
2. Vinny Curry - OLB

Only problem is it might cost us a 3rd and that's a nice sweet spot to get G/C #2
