Sources: Interest high in No. 2 pick - ESPN
http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft2012/sto...ck-sources-say
A handful of teams are expected to be in the market to draft a quarterback -- the Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins and Seattle Seahawks -- and any trade talks with the Rams are likely to accelerate once the free-agent quarterback market plays out and teams still have a need at the position.

For real, I'd prefer the skins to languish in qb hell for as long as possible.

I think the Browns are going to be the team who winds up with that pick.

Same here, just because they should have to give up the least to get there.
Hope the Skins don't come over the top of them.

What do the Browns do with Colt? Let him finish out his contract? Trade him for a lower end draft pick?
I think Cleveland has the best shot, with two first rounders. Just curious what will happen to Colt.

Colt never had a chances in Cleveland...let me rephrase that....no qb stands a chance in cleveland.
Record: 2-3 as of 10/15/2012 | Prediction: 7-9 | Final: 8-8 with a Romo choke

SI.com's Tony Pauline reports that the Rams have had "exploratory talks" with
the Redskins regarding a trade involving St. Louis' pick at No. 2 overall.
At
the same time, Pauline says the Redskins will be "front and center" when the
Colts release Peyton Manning. Reports out of Washington indicate the Skins are
not as intent on acquiring Manning as the Dolphins and perhaps the Cardinals,
but they're doing their due diligence. According to Pauline, the Rams "will do
everything possible" to move out of the No. 2 pick. It's pretty clear that they
view the Redskins as a potentially interested party.

I think it behooves the Rams to make the move quickly.
If FA starts and the Browns sign Flynn, the Redskins Manning, suddenly the Rams suitors are the Dolphins at 8 and the Sehawks further down.
I think it happens sooner then later. If Cleveland wants the pick, it belongs to them, if not we get a shot.
Really it all depends on what Cleveland wants to do. We don't have their ammo

With 2 firsts (4 & 22), a 2nd, 3rd and a history that shows that are not afraid to deal on draft day I would say they are the odd's on favorite, esp...considering the Rams would only need to drop 2 places and would still probably be in line to get their choice of player.

Agree.
So its up to Cleveland. If they decide to pass, ball is in our court and the price is lower

I think Griffin is a good player , but I wouldn't be upset to see the Redskins get him . I have questions on his ability in the NFL . If they want to give up the farm for him , I wish them the best .

it depends...would #4 and #22 this year be better than, say, two top 10 picks next year? (assuming the Rams, Skins and Browns don't do a complete turnaround this season)... Either way Fisher will have three 1st round picks should the Rams trade down...might be an issue of maximizing those picks.
