Who the heck is Ervin?
But I still don't know what any team saw Thursday night that would have made them comfortable with waiting a round or two for the offensive lineman they wanted. ---Todd McShay
We just converted half our LB to DL. We have a 30m starting DL, it better be pretty friggin good.

He also proclaimed that this wouldn't "be the last chapter" and this would be the first of many more Super Bowls. Well, famous last words...
I appreciate his leadership, motivation and passion, but could have done without the over-the-top showmanship.
A player that I'd throw onto the list of favorites would be Kelvin Martin. The hate list would be Mike Sherrard.

I loved Irvin's celebrations. They had the same effect on the crowd and the team as touchdowns. Forget wide reciever. He is my favorite football player of all time.

He was clutch, that's for sure. And perfectd the little push off manuever too. tough to compare irvin to jerry, jerry always got great separation, once he caught the ball he would add up yards in chunks, and incredible hands, acrobatic catches, one handed catches, incredible concentration. But Irvin made the clutch catch in traffic, took a beating and came right back for more.
Also i love his personality, that s*** eating grin, fiery emotion and i still like watching him as an analyst, he's entertaining and "likeable".

I don't even recall Rice playing for the Cowboys.

In all fairness I did preface my selection of Irvin by saying that I'd pick him even if I could choose anyone who's ever played in the NFL. Nors was responding to that.
