Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said the bounty program that has been exposed in New Orleans isn't an issue here.

"It's never really been an issue for our team,'' Garrett said. "That's not something we have done.

"I think we all have a real focus on player safety. I think everyone understands that the league has done a really good job of that. We try to do that with our team so it has not been an issue for us. The league will probably come down with some recommendations as to what we're suppose to say to our team like they've done in similar situations in the past.''

So, did Garrett ever feel there was a bounty on his head when he played?

"I wasn't good enough to bounty,'' he said. "They didn't know who I was.''

Really? We're whining about the fact that our team didn't place bounties now? Is there a story that's going to come out this offseason that we're not going to try to turn into an opportunity to complain about something? Honestly? Perhaps you missed the sarcasm!

What they are saying is that as bad as this defense was last year, it is obvious there was no bounties, and if there was, no one collected on it.

You missed the point by a mile. It's the fact that even if we did have bounties, we weren't good enough to even cash in on them

I am suspicious that our team pays bounties to players who help up the other teams players after the play is over.
