Last year the game was played in Tempe, Arizona as the Eastham Energy College All-Star Game. The contest was played on January 16, 2012 in the San Diego Padres major league affiliate’s stadium. The game drew over 7800 fans. Former Fresno State head coach Pat Hill coached the Stripes (West) team. Hill is now the offensive line coach for the Atlanta Falcons. Head coach of the Stars (East) was former Mississippi and Arkansas Head Coach Houston Nutt. The Stripes won the game 24-21.
