For Bledsoe to have success players around him will have to step up. Bledsoe is not a bad QB but like any QB he will need the supporting cast to do their job. If they do this team has a chance to return to the playoffs if not well Bledsoe is not going to carry this team by himself

IMO, if one person found the article interesting then it wasn't a waste of space. I know Nors can rub some wrong and I get the feeling that even if Nors posted something that was the greatest news since rubber sole shoes many here would still find a fault.
Congrats Nors you have become polarized. Nors = Dallas?

The problem with this guy is he will try to carry the team by himself even when he doesn't have to and he's nowhere near good enough to do it.

I don't think that will be the case in Parcells offense. Bill knows Bledsoe and knows what Drew likes to do and the offense will be setup to take advange of some things Drew likes. In the end none of us know how this is going to turn out but I would hope that as Cowboy fans we give Bledsoe the chance to show what he can do in Dallas before coming down on him.

I doubt he will....not on Parcell's watch. I have the utmost confidence that Parcell will put him a position to succeed. Namely, having a very stout and aggressive defense, a running game that can attack from both sides of the field, move the chains WR and a deep threat WR. If we are balanced and our defense are able to give the offense more chances via turnovers, I think we will go at least 10-6 but it starts with health, protection, and front four defensive pressure.

If he can play for us like he did for the Bills in 2002, we'll be in great shape.

Don't forget Bledsoe also threw for 20 TD's and that VT Led NFL in interceptions
I stand by my prediction Dallas puts up 7 points a game more versus last season.

Just so we're on the same page, we aren't going to count Cowboy Defensive TDs (wishful thinking on my part) and Special Teams TDs towards "Bledsoe's points", are we??

If this prediction comes true then Dallas will have scored 405 points this coming season. That would also be about 25 points per game

Everybody and their dog knows what Bledsoe likes to do, hold the ball forever and look deep. That's what he does, that's what he's always done and that's what he will always do. That's not going to change and I don't care if God is the coach, nevermind the fact that Parcells thinks he is God. Bledsoe is a career 500 quarterback that's cocky. Not a good combination. Now you guys can tell me how it's everybody's fault BUT Bledsoe that he is a 500 quarterback.

Thanks for posting a good read!
Its true, you do need leaders with a swagger...
Football is a tough sport...
Now we need tough leaders on D...
Sorry, but Dat/gnat is the whimpiest MLB in the NFL...THAT needs to change!
Gotta love his race car ability too, I have been around the track here at Indy and last night did the 1/4 miles drags at our own IRP raceway...Fun stuff!

I don't think Bledsoe can carry a team by himself I do think he can have success and has had success in his career. Again I don't know how this will pan out but I will give him a chance before coming down on him as you are doing. After all I am a Cowboys fan and I will give every player a chance to show themselfs, if Drew fails he fails but I'm not going to come down on him before he has taken a single snap in a Cowboys uniform.

Agree - there are some hell bent on his failure and teams failure. Very short list of players that have thrown for 40,000 yards in the NFL. Bledsoe's won 2 AFC Championship games. I don't buy the "he sucks" haters mantra at all.
I've probably seen him play 30 times in person - he's talented as hell. Parcells will fix the ball holding issue and they will prosper this year. My money is on Parcells, Bledsoe and our team suceeding in 2005 and forward.....

I have seen plenty of Bledsoe as well, I have seen him have great days and seen him have poor games and in the end none of that matters, what he does in Dallas is all I care about. Again I don't know how this will all pan out but I will give Bledsoe the opportunity to prove himself in Dallas and will be pulling for him.
