The Dallas Cowboys are searching for a No. 3 receiver, and free-agent WR Early Doucet (Cardinals) might be a possible target.

Yup, gotta love these kind of blog posts. Thought process has to be practically mathematical:

Cowboys lost #3 receiver from last year

+

Early Doucet is a free agent WR who could fit the need

=

Cowboys could be interested in Doucet. Of course, the receivers name is a variable, so feel free to fill in any other random free agent WR's name.

I like Doucet, I feel like on a good offense with a good QB he could be a solid #3, I'd be happy to get him if we do.

My thoughts, to the word, the second I read the post.

Trent Dilfer: "Tony [Romo] has greatness in him. I think when you talk to other people that really play the quarterback position, there's a few guys that really have incredible greatness in them, and Tony is one of them. I think the issue here is he needs more help from his teammates. I think they are not nearly as talented as people say they are, from 1 to 53. I'm talking about the total roster.”

We don't exactly need an all-pro wideout. With Austin and Dez along with Witten we just need a guy that can find the holes and get open. What was Laurent Robinson doing at the start of last season?

Listen to Adam Scheftler on ESPN. "Player X is going to Team Z that has a need at Player X's position. So Player X will be signing with Team Z." As if just because there is a need, that player will automatically sign with the first team he visits.
"Can we get Drew Bledsoe back out here just for a week, so you guys can fall back in love with Tony? Let's sign Drew Bledsoe back for a week. Because sometimes when you have a pretty girl for so long, you forget how pretty she is. But when you put an ugly girl next to her, 'Oh, no, I'm really doing well.' And maybe we need to bring Drew back, so we can back to 'Oh, no, we're really doing well.'"

Here is Laurent Robinson's history in the NFL:

2007: Drafted by ATL in the 3rd Rd
2009: ATL traded Robinson to STL, ATL traded Robinson, its fifth round (160th overall) and sixth round (196th overall) draft choices to the Rams for its fifth round (138th overall) and sixth round (176th overall) selections.
2010: He finished 5th on the team in receptions with 34 receptions, 344 yards, and 2 TDs. He was released after the 2010 season.
2011: Signed with SD, released by SD at the end of the preseason, then signed with us, released by us, then signed again.

That is the definition of a JAG. He played great here, but how much of that was Romo? It's not like every player we sign has to be a potential pro bowler, and it's not like every player that hasn't set the world on fire will always suck. If he fits the system, sign him, if not, don't.
