Carr: a major improvement

A baby step here, a solid step there, and before you know it, you have solid improvement.

The Cowboys finished the first stage of a secondary makeover this morning by adding former Browns and Jets free safety Brodney Pool, to the lineup. Pool takes Abram Elam's place inn centerfield. Pool had a so-so 2011 with the Jets, but has a solid past. He represents a minor increase over Elam, if he's brought back to previous form.
