Default Would you make this trade at #11?

Mike Williams is there, and Pittsburgh offers picks #30, #62, and their first in 2006 to move to #11.

Dang.... that's a tough one. REAL tough one.

I think I might pass and take MW though.

I would do it this trade if the only offer, however I would look for other options with a higher first round pick than 30.

I am sure Carolina would give Williams a serious look.

Points don't add up. because Pitt 2 first will be around 29 next year too..

But Mike Williams. I say grab MW, tough decision but grab MW upside to to to high.....

Pick #11 is worth 1250 points.

#30 is worth 650, #62 is worth 290, next year's first is valued at mid second THIS YEAR or 430 = 1370.

Tough call, but yes I pull the trigger and make the trade. Look at Roddy White at #30...then hope for nice WR class next yr...we know the DT class will be deep next yr.

Next year's class should be a good one. I like getting depth this year and with 2 firsts next year perhaps trading up to get that 1 real difference maker of a player.

No Way! A Mike Williams comes along once in a blue moon. If MW is there that means the football gods have smiled on you and you don't slap the football gods in the face when they give you a gift. That said, if he's there I would be shocked. But I would take him if he's there.

2 late first round picks and a 2nd round pick should be three starters. But we are giving up a starter (#11) this year, so we would be netting two extra starters.

I would most likely do it.

The question would be, could you get a guy like Roddy White at #30? If so, then is the guaranteed difference in value between MW and RW more than the value of two starters? I would guess no. Since there are no guarentees that MW will be great, I think the chance to pick up two additional starters while taking a step down to Roddy White would be worth it.

I say all of this even conceding that MW would probably be my #1 selection for the Cowboys this year. But that offer may be too much to pass up on.

I'd do it. Although i'm sure more(perhaps better) trade offers would be available to the Boys if Mike Williams dropped that far.

It's a win-win deal either way if MW or even one of the QBs drop to our pick. It adds value to our slot.

Actually this trade gives us #20 and #30 in the first and #42 and #62 in the second, so we have 4 chances to add starters in the first two rounds plus a 2nd first in 2006.

Also with Glenn and Key coming back along with Morgan, it is unlikely...especially with Parcells...that Williams is more than our #3 WR in 2005, so we 'd not be drafting a probable starter at #11 anyway.
