Our best player Mr.Roy Williams,if this new rule is passed the "roywilliams" rule,it is seriously gonna hamper is play.

Not because thats his only way of playing,but becacuse how can he hit somebody if he has to worry about hitting to hard,

if he has to mkae sure how he brings them down is correct that he's grabbing the right way, not to hard,

This is silly and crappy and i fear in the beginning of the season,roy is not gonna be the roy we know.

We need to find a FS and a DL, because if roy isnt gonna be the same then we need guys to cover and create pressure till he gets back to his game

Actually, if he's playing near the LOS he won't be chasing as much as he had to last year.

Are we gonna start crying about this crap again? Roy made it to where he is by knocking people out of their cleats, not by pulling people down from behind.

how many times did roy have to use this technique? maybe 3 times. the rule won't be a big deal. he can afford the fine if one is assessed.

I think it is high time that we made this game into the flag football game that Paul Tagleabue has long envisioned. However, if a Cowboy (say Terrance Newman for instance) starts to catch too many flags they will make a new Tarrance Newman rule that says you can't take the flag if you have to leave your feet to grab it while at the same time shortening the length of the flag.

This is a ridiculous rule

Dargon no need to worry.......Roy will make any ajustments necessary(none) and will be just fine.

its a stupid rule but it wont change how he plays alot...he probably tackled 3 or 4 times like that all year...if its all he could do to get a guy down it'd be different...

If Roy is the player we think he is, this will not be an issue. Now if he sucks a** next year, he's got a built-in excuse as to why his play drops off.

Personally, I think he'll be somewhat average until after the 1st quarter of the season and he's had to get to use to his tackling technique. After that I expect to see him in a groove.
