That would make more sense.

I could see Jenkins and Jones being traded but would still have to give up some picks.
the 14th, Jenkins, and Jones is really 3 first round picks for one.
But I bet the Browns will still want another pick.

Those 2 guys and Dez are the only realy trade value players we have because of their youth and contracts.
I don't think Scandrick offers near enough quality to move us up.
If they want Richardson than I think getting Jenkins plus our 1st rounder is a great deal for them.
They come out of round 1 with a Pro Bowl Corner and Trent Richardson....

We'd be getting screwed if we give them both players and the pick.
1 of the players + our pick is a fare deal.
I might even throw in a 2013 4th.
Giving up Jones, Jenkins, and pick 14 would be robbery for the Browns.

Agreed. It would most likely be Jenkins + 14, and another pick later in the draft, maybe a 3rd or a high one in 2013. Doubt it'd be both players. The team doesn't want to create more holes in the process of patching them up. Though number 4 is high and if the Cowboys were desperate enough to move up that high, the Browns would make them pay.
On the Browns end of things, I'd imagine they want to get Tannehill, just not at #4.

why move up to draft a cb at 4? Claiborne is good and all but i don't think he is rated better than peterson who went 5 to cardinals. Especially since we just signed a cb to a big deal and still have jenkins and scandy (who we resigned). We need to fill other holes now. I rather not make that trade. We need passrush now. We are lucky ware hasn't missed many games because of injury.

Hmmm, interesting.
I cant add much to the rumor but that site and Esch are gaining steam around the NFL. I know for a fact the Browns, Bills and Panthers have expressed interest in their board and services and from what I understand the Cowboys will be possibly be using them this year for the first time.

He's a better pure corner coming out of college than Peterson and his style fits Robs defense.
I love the player but I also like Jenkins and think i'd go with Jenkins and draft a front 7 player.

Plus they would have the 22nd pick still in hand.
Having said all that, I don't see this trade happening at all.

Me too.
I think if we stay put at 14, we can end up with a very good player.
And if we trade back to around 22, I still think we can end up with a very good player plus an extra pick.
Given that we could use one more interior OL, 3rd WR, TE depth, OLB, S, CB depth, DL and ILB depth, I'd prefer not to lose more picks/players.

this.
or maybe after have talks with jenkins agent they feel that he is asking way too much and rather move up and have the corner situation locked up or 4+ years hopefully, and let someone else deal with jenkins and his agent aka part of the trade to browns??????

Using them for what?
Ivy League
Jason Garrett offense rank minus Tony Sparano: 18, 14, 7, 15, 15
