DeCastro backers: Who do you guys want in rounds 2 and 3?
Question for those of you guys who want David DeCastro in round one..
Which players are you guys targeting in the 2nd and 3rd rounds?

You would think they would target a pass rusher via OLB or DE in the 2nd and the 3rd round is always a toss up with Dallas. TE, RB and CB are all viable options. Really I would look for the guy falling or the Marion Barber, Jason Witten, Demarco Murray type pick. Maybe a Ryan Broyles.....

For me Konz. I will settle for Crick, Irvin, Curry, Hosley, or any other player on D. But I think we need to close the holes in the OL for the next decade.

I think it's going to be Barron, Cox, Poe, or Coples at 14.
If none of those guys are there, I think we hope to trade down. I believe DeCastro would be a last-ditch, bad taste in the mouth selection.
I think the Cowboys would, like most teams, prefer Glenn or one of the tackles in a trade down over DeCastro at guard.
I expect DeCastro to slip down around 20.
I think round two is likely on offense....I also think the Cowboys would love to have two picks in round two and would then definitely look offense.

I wouldnt be opposed to a DeCastro-Konz 1-2..but I would say thats damn near impossible to happen..even if Konz is available..just dont see us going in that direction, no matter what

I liked Crick or maybe Brandon Thompson, some DL of some kind.
3rd is Broyles. Now and forever.

Hopefully it's a NT in the 1st and a DB or LB in the 2nd and 3rd.
If it's DeCastro in the 1st, hopefully DL, LB or DB in the 2nd and 3rd.

good lord id love for that to happen. what would this do? it would keep romo upright and the running game churning. what would this do for the defense? keep them off the field. force teams to play from behind and abandon their original game plan. it would help the defense as much as the offense. id rather have pro bowl calibur OG than a solid safety like barron.
