when Stephen talks about coming out of this draft with 3 starters. I'm guessing players splitting time, could constitute starting? I don't see anyone starting after the 3rd round.

3rd WR I guess can be considered a starter and the way Dallas rotates RB's it seems if your in for the 1st play your a starter and that's about all the weight the label carries.
Honestly, besides OG, OC, S and possibly DE I don't see the opportunity for an immediate starter coming from this draft anywhere. You can land one of those 4 with your first pick but after that if you look at who's on the board I dont think there are anymore guarantee's.

Well I didn't know Stephen had said this, but its possible to me if we take Barron as I said in the Barron thread.
We would have to be real careful in the next 2 rounds to fill specific areas of need though.

KR, PR, and even P are basically starting positions. So is a 3rd WR in today's NFL just like a Nickel CB is
I personally think Stephen's comments do indicate an OG or C in the 2nd over Martin. If we acquire Martin, it could be we will trade or release Felix and Martin is seen as a starter if Murray has injuries.

Zeitler is going to fall to us? I think he may go late first, early 2nd.
If he does start falling, here is how it will go. He's falling falling falling. Still on the board at 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42... we start licking out lips, hitting refresh on the draft tracker over and over. Then someone grabs him at 43.
Then at 45 we end up moving back so we can add a 4th rounder who we end up cutting following the 2013 preseason.

This Martin reminds me alot of Ahmed Bradshaw of the Giants, maybe a little faster.

True. I like Martin and do think this is Felix's last year, but don't think I would go RB in the 2nd. I'm leaning towards Brandon Brooks in the 2nd. Don't think Zietler makes it out of the 1st.

brooks
in the 1st two rounds.

I think there is probably another corner or bigger wide receiver in the 6th or 7th but again that is the 6th and 7th.
I'd like Dallas to find a way to diversify the pass rush away from a Ware injury somewhere, but you really can't do that outside of the first 3 rounds.
I think Spencer would get his long term deal pretty quickly after this draft.

He provides good depth and could be an absolute stud on Special Teams where guys with high motors usually excel. If we don't take him here the bet is TE. Look for Rhett Ellison or DeAngelo Peterson possibly. I prefer to wait and steal Linthicum out of Michigan State, but we won't wait. My pet cat is going to be near this spot. That is Hebron Fangupo out of BYU at NT. I think he will end up being a steal and I actually hope we grab him even if we reach a little.

With all the players in this range that can help the team - LB Carder, TE Ellison, NT Fangupo, etc. - do you see them trading next year's picks to acquire more than one of these guys?

Agree. That would be ridiculous to take another RB that high.

Everything looks good Hos, though I do think we draft a TE somewhere in this draft, however, I have no clue what round.

I like all of it. I like taking Barron in round 1, and I like taking a punter as insurance.
I just wish it was Bryan Anger.

Darn, where's the missletoe when you need it?
There's no right way to do the wrong thing.
To compete for the playoffs, Dallas has to improve here: Only four sacks against Eli Manning over the past six games!
