Browns Actively Trying to Move into Top Ten
Interesting nugget from one of my sportswriter friends. The worst kept secret in the league right now is the Browns trying to package #22 and #37 to move into the top ten. They've been actively calling everybody from JAX on down to the mid-teens just to gauge interest.
Though the obvious target is Tannenhill, apparently the Browns covet Michael Floyd and think he's a better prospect Blackman.
As for the #4 pick, nobody in the league wants it. Richardson is still a 90% possibility simply to put some weapons on offense.

If I were the Cowboys and my prime target was gone at # 14, I would jump on the Browns # 22 and # 37.

#14 and #81 are just about equal to #22 and #37.
Trading down sounds good and all, but who would be the targets with #22, #37 and #45?
I'm thinking out loud here. Here are a list of the targets between #22 and #45 that COULD be available:
Cordy Glenn
Courtney Upshaw
Nick Perry
Whitney Mercilus
Coby Fleener
Andre Branch
Dre' Kirkpatrick
Chandler Jones
Shae McClellin
Peter Konz
Donte' Hightower
Harrison Smith
Vinny Curry
Kendall Wright
Doug Martin
Kevin Zeitler
If I felt comfortable that I could get a combination of 3 players from that list, I would make the trade.
At that moment a voice came over me and said, Look up, get up, and don't ever give up. You tell everyone or anyone that has ever doubted, thought they did not measure up or wanted to quit, you tell them to look up, get up and don't ever give up. - Michael Irvin

If we made that trade then I would want these 3 from the list provided by ND21 (in some order):
* Jones, Branch or McClellin
* Fleener
* One of the guards: Glenn, Zeitler (or Silatolu, not listed)
it would be like shooting fish in a barrell

If I could get either Cordy Glenn, Zeitler or Koonz
and either McClellin or Mercilus
I would be very happy with my first two picks actually.

#22, #37 and #45 would be tempting. I'm all for that if Barron or Decastro are not available at #14.

2(45) Jared Crick DT Nebraska

I wouldn't trade our 3rd either. If you want to move up to 14 from 22, I want your 2nd. If not, then your 3rd and 4th and probably something else next year.

This^
Three very solid picks right there.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Definitely.
I would demand at least a 2nd rounder for us to move from 14 to 22.

I hate those charts. I don't even know if what I said matches up to it or not, but that seems fair. Your 2nd for dropping from 14 to 22.
Otherwise I wouldn't do it. Yeah, you'd have two 2nd rounders but at the price of a downgraded 1st round pick and no pick in the 3rd round.
