Goose Draft
Hey Zoners,
Any idea when we can expect the Goose Gosselin Mock Draft?
His draft, I look forward too as he seems fairly accurate.
Thanks

Unfortunately, he's no longer doing his mock drafts or top 100.

I think it is because he is covering other areas now ( e.g the Mavericks, Rangers, etc)

The DMN in their infinite wisdom saw fit to re-allocate the world's best NFL beat reporter to the world's worst columnist.

It's all related to the NFL not wanting the picks given away before the Commish goes to the podium.

Yup. This really signifies why the newspaper industry is struggling so badly. You could not possibly make a worse decision than this.

If you want Goose Lite, the next best thing is Milwaukee Journal Sentinals Bob McGinn, who actually beat Goose's Top 100 last year. He just released his today, but I hate how he just groups positions together and doesnt rank them.

^^^^^^^^
sad.
no wonder it is failing at this rate.
imagine if they had kept Breer as main Cowboys reporter; fired cowlishaw for being terrible at everything, and kept Goose as national NFL guy.....

Was it their call or his? I ask because I really don't know.
I wonder if he would rather cover more sports and make more money through the course of the year vs just being known as mainly a once a year type of draft guru.

He needs to go back to what he was doing because he has not been too great outside of that niche.

He got promoted (probably pay issue not role).
DMN didn't want him doing beat writing but wanted a more general columnist for that pay....
dumb.
