Adam Schefter: Mark Barron Will Not Make it to Pick 14
@AdamSchefter
Mark this down, @MichaelDavSmith. Mark Barron will not make it to Dallas' pick at No. 14.

Yeah that's pretty disappointing...
It keeps looking more and more like it will be Brockers, who I like but not at 14 and he isn't one of the better pass rushers which is what we need most imo
Not that it means anything, but Jerry did say in his presser about the draft, that he would not hesitate trading up for a top guy. I'd hope for Cox or Barron in a trade up.

I had Brockers in my first mock back in February. Looks like he's going to be the guy.
Also, I have a feeling Philly is going to try and jump us for Brockers.

At this point in time everything is NOISE.
Just follow your board and wait for players to come to your spot. Trade down if you have to.
If Barron goes before 14, ok. That mean another player gets pushed down to us.

I'm willing to bet that he will be there at 14, but if he goes earlier, that's good news for us.
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

I have seen about 20 different players where people claim they will not make it to 14. Something has to give.

I'd have no problem moving up for Barron.

Somethings got to give...let the bodies hit the floor.
Sorry that song jumped in my head after reading your post.
I hope...HOPE that this is just teams out there trying to lure jerry to trade up to get Barron because I would rather have Barron and not Brockers.

Not necessarily..it's bee rumored for a whole now that this could be the most wild draft in ages..maybe that means 20 players go in the top 13

Trading up to 10 or 11 for cox, barron, or decastro is better than stayong at 14 and wasting a pick on brockers

Just to clarify...When I posted that I meant I hope teams are doing it just to get Jerry to trade up and we call the bluff and we still get him at 14.
Although I think I was looking at the draft trade value chart and moving up to the 10th spot would be close to trading our 1st and 3rd (a few points shy)...I imagine it would be too much to move up more than that unless a player is also involved.

I'm sure there are 20 different guys who could fall between 1 and 13 but only 13 players will get selected in the 1st 13 picks. Will Barron be selected before 14 who knows?
