It's going to be tough sledding to get back into the 2nd round. We would have to mortgage our entire draft to do it.

The question is that worth it. Is that 2nd round player worth more than the 3rd, 4th, 4th, 5th round players that it would probably cost to move into the 2nd.

I'm a little split, but I honestly doubt that many rookies will make this squad.

I would rather get a higher percentage impact player.
In the final two months of 2011, Romo’s passer rating was 115.9.

Can't trade the 4th round comp pick.

I think we will have to offer our 3rd and a future 3rd.

If we trade up into the second then I would be cool with any of those guys. If we stay at 3, then I think Blake would be a good choice.

"I just always feel that he's going to find a way to win the game…He has evolved into a great, great leader of the team...He is the total package." Roger Staubach about Tony Romo

"They're a talented group with a great quarterback, and they're well on their way." Troy Aikman on the Cowboys and Tony Romo

But what do Roger and Troy know about great quarterbacking, talent, leadership, and winning anyway?

Now we are getting somewhere. Probably still not enough.
The truth almost always lies somewhere in between...

Except on CZ.

I think as far as G, they like Ronald Leary. He's projected to be a 5th to 6th round player, so I expect we'll try to nab him in the 5th if we like him so much.

How we attack center, I have no idea.
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

That's what I would think. I'd think they would have to be looking at Konz, Glenn, Upshaw, Branch, Curry, Still, and Reyes as names they would move up for. They'd still have a 3rd and 4th(Comp) to work with after that.

I think Glenn and Fleener are gone in the first 4-5 picks of the second around.

I think Fleener is gone to the Colts. Luck and Fleener to be reunited in Indy.

Jerry Jones in the draft room is suicide on the football field. The line of scrimmage is EVERYTHING. Something Jerry doesn't understand.
