Because that rating is for OLB, a position he has never played. He played DE all 4 yrs at Troy.

Many teams project him to OLB in the 4-3 b/c of his size/speed ratio. Again, he makes the perfect OLB in the 3/4 or an undersized speed rusher ala John Abraham or Simon Rice.

Or perhaps because this isn't an exact science and that people have differing opinions.

I have never watched Ware play so I can't honestly say I know one way or the other. I will say that 11 is real high for a guy who hasn't played D1 and is a bit of a tweener for DE. JMO

Yea, I feel the same way. Probably a little bit more worried about Ware then Merriman, but I would love for us to trade down a couple of spots and grab Pollack and a third round pick.
"Can we get Drew Bledsoe back out here just for a week, so you guys can fall back in love with Tony? Let's sign Drew Bledsoe back for a week. Because sometimes when you have a pretty girl for so long, you forget how pretty she is. But when you put an ugly girl next to her, 'Oh, no, I'm really doing well.' And maybe we need to bring Drew back, so we can back to 'Oh, no, we're really doing well.'"

To be honest, I'm not in love with any of these DEs. I really would rather wait and take on in the 2nd. Tuck, maybe Ware if he's there. I just don't like any of them overly much.

Aren't we talking about LBs? I would not mind drafting Ware, but i think 11 is a reach, especially if he is only ranked 4th at his projected position. BP usually knows what he is doing when it comes to chooseing LBs, so if he picks him at 11 I will trust that he made the right decision.

There you go ... making sense again.

Your cousin that hates us. I hope we draft him just to stick it to him and make him ride the pine if he shows a hint of attitude...no offense...

Actually, at that particular time, I think we were talking about Ware, who is generally projected as a DE.
