Henson's rating in this draft.
Hypothetically, if the Drew Henson of today (current age and one year training/experience with a professional organization) were in this year's draft where would he rank among this year's QB crop?
Am I insane for thinking he would be selected before Aaron Rodgers?

Dunno - nobody, other than the organization.....really knows WHERE he is right now. He has had the training and experience of a year in the program, but he is still different than college QBs in that noone has seen him extensively for 5 years.....with all that said, assuming he had the year experience with what we know, prolly a mid rounder. 3rd is about right.....

I wish I knew. I know that most had him rated ahead of Mike Vick for that draft which would have been the only true indicator. His potential is through the roof. The question remains can he put it all together?

The Cowboys had him going late first had he entered the 2004 draft instead of agreeing to a contract with Houston. Having a year in a NFL system, including playing time, I'd say he'd be a mid first round pick.

We can get the a top 10 pick - freakin trade Henson!
We picked him up in the open market. I'd trade Henson straight up at #24 for GB's pick and take Charlie Frye.
There is a small chance Henson is traded draft day.

His track record for putting it all together is a red flag - thats always been there.

I'd say that there is a small chance that JJ, Witten, Roy, Newman, Flo, etc. are traded for the right price. But that doesn't make it even NEAR probable.

First rounder in my opinion. Wether or not he would fall in the top 10 is a debatable issue. Given his performance at Mich and his one year in a professional organization, I say that teams would be willing to gamble on taking him in the top 20.
"... in the scouting/front office communities, Cowboyszone is considered to be the best fan site in the NFL by a pretty wide margin, and is considered to be right up there with the best fan sites in all of sports. You'd be floored by some of the people who have accounts here, and regularly check this site. You might be careful spouting off too many crazy opinions, you could have real NFL GMs with multiple Super Bowl rings laughing at you."

Be excellent to each other....
