huuuge drop in production from 2010 to 2011. If he returns to form, he can go very early. If his production drops some more, I have no reason to think he'll be any better than Spencer (who may be gone).

A name to keep an eye on next year: Gerald Hodges, LB Penn State.

The next great LB to come out of Linebacker U.


I like him better as a prospect than I liked Sean Lee and NaVorro Bowman when they came out.

I've been hearing from a couple people I know connected to the Penn State football program that Gerald has been putting up "freakish" numbers in the weight room this spring and performed as well as a linebacker can perform in spring practices.

I Cannot wait to see how he performs in the fall.

Predictions: Butkus award finalist and First Round pick in next year's draft.

Surely does not...

The general temp on Gerald right now seems to be a consensus 1st round pick. Most have him as the top or 2nd prospect at LB in this class. There is a lot to be determined at this point but he is sitting in a good spot as long as he backs it up on the field.
