Am I the only one who loved the NBA on NBC theme?

I miss the NBA being on NBC. The Networks that broadcast the NBA today are okay. But IMO no one covered better than NBC

TNT is terrific, but it pales in comparison to NBC.

NBC would really get me hyped up to watch NBA games. Especially during playoff times.

Makes me wonder how they would cover the playoffs right now with today's NBA stars

i hate that they play finals games so late! it would be the mavs or spurs in the finals, vs ET teams, yet the games dont start till 9ET?!?!?!?!? who gives a crap about pacific time zones that have no team in the finals? even when the lakers were in it, if the game is in the east, it should be a little earlier! no later than 7:30 local time!

also, back in the day the finals games on sunday were in the afternoon! why the hell are they all of the sudden at 9et on sundays? so stupid! i hate ABC/ESPN

They start at 8 don't they? 7 on Sundays. Doesn't seem bad to me.

im pretty sure its 9et, 8ct every day, but maybe they changed sundays to 8et, 7ct, i really wouldnt know since my team hasnt been in the finals for 5 years

Well the Lakers played in the Finals 3 straight years. I remember Game 2 and Game 5 of the 09/10 series being played at 7.

The two Griz-Clips games are killing me so far. They weren't over until 11:30

It is my second favorite theme....behind the MNF theme (not Hank)....I love the music playing and then the helmets smash into one another, and then a birdseye view of the stadium.....sends chills down my spine.

BTW........one thing I miss just as much as the NBA on NBC and that theme is the IBM presents "you make the call" segment during every MNF game.
