Princess Lilly, update, donation information

I know a really special person.

This person is named Lilly. She is a 6 year old little girl. There's something enchanting about her, she's like a little princess. Her eyes light up the room. She's sweet, mischevious, playful, and very mature for her age. Such a good girl.

Lilly has neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is a cancerous tumor that develops from nerve tissue. She has been fighting this since August 2011. It is Stage 4.

Today, the doctors have informed Lilly's parents (good friends of mine and my fiancee) that she only has a couple of weeks left, at most.

Lilly isn't going to be with us much longer, but I just wanted to let everyone know how L-U-C-K-Y I am to have met Lilly and spent time with her. She has a special place in my heart, and I feel so honored to have been blessed with her presence in my life, no matter how short it might be.

I can only hope that my presence in others' lives can amount to half of how she's impacted mine. If I can manage that, I'll feel that I've done something good.

And I don't care what the doctors say, I'm still praying.

I ask that you pray, hope, meditate, whatever it is that you do, for Lilly and her family. I am absolutely heartbroken that this is happening to the sweetest little girl I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
