How do you know he isn't black? So he is picking on his own people, if he was indeed black?

I don't think, he meant it in that way.

We as humans need to get past such things. We are to sensitive to things that have happened in the past, that none of us went through, white or black. The people who fought for what it is today are long gone.

We cant turn everything into "Hey he's classifying all black people as this" or "He's saying that all blacks look like that" or "All whites are like this"

Maybe he did mean it in that way...maybe he didn't...we may never know unless he comes out and says it. Because looking at it, it does not look to be harmful

Many on here are lucky this is the internet. The way some of you point the fingers at others, and try to publicly humiliate them instead of taking it private. This is how many people get shot or run into problems over their mouth.

I take it, white or black...you would be smart enough to not call somebody that you don't know out on this, in the streets over something like this.

All I'm saying is. It's not that big of a deal....act the way you would in real life.

Doesn't matter how he meant it if some people take it a certain way. "Getting past things like this" means more than people just ignoring things that could be considered offensive. It also means people being careful to not say things that could be seen by others as offensive.

Your point about it not being meant that way seems particularly ridiculous. Gee, I didn't mean to be unable to distinguish people from a particular race. That's not something you can do intentionally. You can, however, be aware that not being able to tell people from the same background apart can be seen as offensive to some.
