Cowboys nose tackle Jay Ratliff’s media silence this spring was apparently not an accident.

He didn’t talk to reporters at OTAs or minicamp, and said in a radio interview he was hoping for less talk, more action this year.

“We’re not going to sit here and talk about what we’re going to do this year or all the expectations everyone else has for us,” Ratliff told KTCK. “I think the attitude for us this year needs to be we’re going to be quiet. To put it bluntly, we’re going to shut up, not say a thing and do our jobs.”

I would love a media freeze out that contributed to a Championship. It would be their worst nightmare.

Media freeze would be awesome. The Media is not the friend of the Cowboys. The media would become apoplectic.

The beauty of that, then Jason Garrett can pick and choose what media he wants to represent the cowboys media, while freezing out media personnel he doesnt want, if things happens way Hos said so.

Besides the obvious reason why the media always spins stories in a negative light regarding the Cowboys, I wonder if the old guard east coast media holds the city of Dallas responsible for the JFK assassination and by proxy the Dallas Cowboys?
