Take a look in my golf bag sometime, and you'll see a set of sticks like you might find in a tour pro's bag... I've probably got 3 grand worth of clubs and bag, and another grand worth of "spares"-- drivers, wedges, putters...

I've probably got 1500 bucks worth of bowling equipment, too... I have all the big boy's toys, in the sports that interest me...

My bottom line is I have watched CCF adopt a number of contrarian positions, even outrageous positions, and I have become convinced that he does so because he likes provoking negative reactions... so I have decided that in this instance, I'd give him a little taste of his own medicine...

You might note that he apparently doesn't like being treated the way he treats this board... anyway, the truth is I don't care about hockey one way or the other... I don't like the sport, but I don't hate it... all ofr my comments in this thread were designed to get CCF worked up...

Well, I haven't spent any money on my hobbies in a while, but that's mostly because my rotator cuff won't let me play the game... no sense in spending money on a sport I can't currently play...

The one sport I don't get in to and probably never will is lacrosse. It's like rich white kids needed their own sport because they can't hold a spot on any real sports and ended up at lacrosse.

actually up here, it is a poor man's version of hockey as the registration is cheap and you only need half the equipment.
