Default ESPN: Mackenzy Bernadeau has minor knee surgery

Mackenzy Bernadeau has minor knee surgery
http://espn.go.com/blog/dallas/cowbo...r-knee-surgery
July, 29, 2012

OXNARD, Calif. -- Cowboys guard Mackenzy Bernadeau was doing rehab work on the practice fields here Sunday morning hoping he'll come off the PUP list and be ready in time for the start of the 2012 season.

Bernadeau is recovering from hip surgery, and coach Jason Garrett said his progress was slowed by a knee injury, which required surgery recently. It was considered minor.

Garrett said running back Felix Jones (shoulder) and safety Gerald Sensabaugh (knee), who are also recovering from surgeries, should be ready for the first training camp practice Monday.

Mack meet a fellow ex-Cowboy Marco Rivera.

I hope this is just a spat of bad luck but having two leg surgeries from injuries incurred in the offseason is a bit discouraging. What will happen to him when they actually start playing?

I wonder if Montrae Holland has kept himself in shape.

Sure he has. Nicely pear-shaped.

He was hurt in Carolina when penciled in as the starter. Arkin and Leary oh my.

With a gimp arm to boot.
There's no right way to do the wrong thing.

To compete for the playoffs, Dallas has to improve here: Only four sacks against Eli Manning over the past six games!

In the Fan Zone, there is a tweet by Broaddus saying Bern was doing resistance training with the bands today, so he probably wasn't set back all that much by the knee surgery.

are we snake bit or what in getting FA guards.

Marco Rivera has very little injury trouble his entire career; then he signs with the boys and in weeks injures his back working out and is never the same again.

Now we get weekend at bernies.

I have a bad feeling that right guard is going to be a problem for us the entire season #revolvingdoor

Sounds like scar tissue clean up or something like that. Not sure why people are ready to drop off the ledge.

Dez Bryant, Receiver. A man who's season is over. Gentlemen, the Cowboy's staff can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first super human receiver.
Dez Bryant will be that man. Better than he was before. Better.... Stronger..... Faster......
