1) Stella Artois (the first beer I was ever loyal to)
2) Miller High Life (perfect balance between light and regular beer)
3) Anchor Summer Beer / Killian's Irish Red (it's a tie)

1. Hoegaarden - Had it in Belgium a while back and have been hooked. Imported is nowhere near the same but it's a good enough reminder of how great the beer is.

2. New Belgium Brewing......pretty much anything they make but Tart Lychee is a new one for me that is amazing. It's brewed normal and then aged in a giant wooden tank for 2 years. Comes out sour and very nice. Also, if you can find Cocoa Mole, definitely worth a shot.

3. Blue Moon or Boulevard Wheat

I absolutely detest light beers. Unless you're watching your weight, I don't see the point.

But I'd rather a glass of scotch or bourbon over a beer on most days. I'm more of a sipper than a chugger these days.

I'm the same way. I'd much rather have an old fashioned than beer. But I do love beer. Im also with you when it comes to light beer. If I want a light beer, miller high life(not light) is what I go to.
