Piers Morgan is a huge Arsenal fan, man is he pissed at management for selling Van Persie and Song.

Liverpool was an absolute disaster today. Arsenal has no firepower now. Both are in for long seasons, I think.

It's a rebuilding year for Liverpool. Will take a while to adapt to Rodgers style. Score made game look worse than it was though. Things gout out of hand after Agger was sent off.

I thought his penalty was bad, but the one a few minutes later was atrocious. Player was not going to goal and nowhere near having a scoring opportunity. Just a stupid foul to take. West Brom's first goal was spectacular. What a strike.

I am a big Bayern Munich fan. I have lived in Munich so it was mandatory. I think it would be cool if the MLS champion got to play in the CL.

Man City with a rollercoaster win. I'm not sure if their back four is good enough to top United this year.

Chelsea? I'm quickly becoming a big Eden Hazard fan. Chelsea v Newcastle will be fun next week.

They made so many changes this off season that it will take some time to come together and play at a consistently high level. Plus this off season was only stage 1. They will continue to spend money and build up that team for the long haul.

It would be cool, but they would not do well. They don't even do well in CONCACAF's Champions League.

Man U's back line may not be up to the task, either. Vidic is coming back from his ACL injury last season. Ferdinand is a year older and tends to get nicked up. I don't think much of either Rafael or Evra at the fullback position. City has the edge at goalie.

During a long seasons lots of things are going to happen that change the fortunes of every team. We may have already seen one yesterday with the injury to Aguero who will now miss a few weeks.

LEO MESSI’S ADIDAS F50 MICOACH STATS

Since the miCoach launched on football boots nearly 10 months ago, adidas have been slowly feeding us information gathered the cleats from top players – with Dani Alves’ el Clasico performance being the most notable.

Now, adidas have finally given us the stats we’ve all been waiting for, as they give us an insight into Leo Messi’s miCoach data.

Gathered during Argentina’s 3-1 win over Germany in Frankfurt last week, the data captured by the Speed_Cell in Leo Messi’s F50 adiZero football boots offers a fascinating insight into the in’s and out’s of a match for a professional footballer.
