Just because you think so does not sum up the rest of us. Post something positive if your going to post maybe some people would like to hear about this if you feel he is a waste or mediocre talent then thats fine but you dont have to insult every thread about a player you dont like.

Gollum, I would've watched it but im at work going insane trying to fix this damn ProLiant DL380 (SLAMS HEAD INTO DESK)

Anyone else catch it?!

From Watsons28 on another board:

Maurice Clarrett was just on the Dan Patrick show on ESPN Radio and he said that Parcells contacted him and asked him if he would accept a weight clause if we drafted him. He stated that if Parcells wanted him at 220 he'd be at 220 if he wanted him at 210, he'd get to 210. Overall he sounded very humble and genuine.

yup...

so is everyone else

I guess the difference is that people who create the threads on Clarett aren't necessarily 'justified' in doing so...and those who feel the need to reply (even though they admittedly don't care for the topic) are, however, justified

I listened to it, Clarett seemed rather humble, he said he'll be watching on draft day with his family. He also made a remark about having hope because teams like miami are looking to trade down. he said he spoke to some teams including Tuna who said if he came to dallas he'll have to mointor his weight..to which dan patrick asked if Parcells will monitor his own weight.

yeah that was funny Patrick said It's only fair that Parcells monitored his weight also, Clarett was laughing and said Parcells doesn't have to go on the field and make tackles or something like that

what does parcells talking to clarett tell us?
I think it certainly means he is still on thier draft board. now, that doesn't mean he they will take him... but, the 'character' issue seems to not have eliminated him from the draft board.
I would be on board if they took in the fifth round or later.

just thinking of clarett.....
anyone remember the championship game against Miami....... Ohio State turned it over, and Maurice got to the miami defender and ripped the ball out of his hands to retain the posession. very impressive effort play.

Thats one of the things I love about him he doesnt quit on plays Crenzel thru a pick and he ran over an took it out of the DB's hands inside the red zone. Great play. Say what you want about Clarett but he carried OSU on his back to 13-0 and a National Championship. He kindof reminds me of LT in terms of carrying a team.
