Jimmy Kimmel goes out on street with an iPhone 4s and tells people that it is the new iPhone 5 - asks for their feedback.

What makes this happen is the fact that the iPhone's physical appearance never changes very much. You could do this with some cars models too. It's sort of a placebo effect. Just telling them it's a new version makes them see non-existent differences.

That said, I think this video was posted a day or two ago. Or maybe I just saw it somewhere else.

Though I must say, it's quite funny to watch people make an *** of themselves.

Exactly my point.

The funnest part is their need to buy the same item they already own which tells you it isn't the item they want, but the image they believe it gives them by having one!

In the iPhones case, the sooner you have it. The cooler you are.
