So you're suggesting the defender should have alerted Cushing before the hit or shouldn't have hit him at all?

....and the ref looked RIGHT at it and did nothing because that block is legal in the NFL: just a gutless, cowardly joke of a block that they ALLOW. The Broncos and their infamous line coach use to wreck many a knee with those type cowardly blocks. I don't like Cushing or the Texans but fair is fair and that "block" was a disgrace.
