Surtain traded to Chiefs
Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the Miami Dolphins have agreed to trade CB Patrick Surtain to the Kansas City Chiefs for a second-round draft choice. The two teams will also swap picks in the fifth-round. The two sides still need to finalize paper work on the deal and it is also contingent upon Surtain passing a physical with Kansas City

Not sure who the winner is there. I guess you'd call it a wash.

Get ready for KC to try to get one of the DE prospects... I hope they wouldn't try to jump us and grab Merriman.

They used up all their ammo to trade for Surtain. They didn't have a 3rd and now just used their 2nd.

Surtain for a 2nd basically......nice deal....I like Surtain and think he is one of the better CB's in the league

Really? Good.
I'm hoping somehow we do something like nab Merriman at 11 and then move up to 17 (for instance) and get Ware.
I know, I know... put the pipe down and back away.
I can dream though.

Should be about 28. I went to Southern Miss with him and I think we're the same age.

Norm is on the air right now and he's saying that the way the draft is shaping out right now the Cowboys could end up with Merriman at #11 and Ware at #20.
