It's sad that FANS like you don't know the difference between a "hater" and a "realist." REALISTICALLY this season is over for the Cowboys they're a poorly coached, inconsistent team that's dug themselves too deep a hole to climb their way out of. That's not being hateful it's being honest. What we've been seeing the past 3 seasons isn't all of a sudden going to magically change in the next 8 games. Just to have a prayer at a playoff birth the Cowboys would have to go 6-2 and based on what we've seen of this team under Garrett that simply isn't going to happen.

The team has talent but it's NOT a good football team because it's poorly coached, disorganized and undisciplined. The only thing consistent about this team is it's ability to find ways to lose every week. That's not hating it's telling it like it is. I know you won't read this you claim you have me on ignore because you can't bare reading the truth. The truth hurts FANS and realists.

I think you're misguided in this whole 'hater' thing.

Don't project this current situation as having anything to do with a fan.

I didn't do anything to sabotage this team and all my hopes and dreams won't do anything to save it.

The fault and blame do not lie with the fans, but with those who have disappointed us.

It's not my job to support a mediocre product with my time and money.

It is the job of the owner, GM, coaches and players to make me want to.

To give me a reason to.

The onus is on them, not on me.

If you want to label folks who are disappointed and down as 'haters', you can also label those who blindly follow this disappointing group as 'suckers'.

You wouldn't spend your money on a clearly inferior product, no matter the market. Why should you make an exception when it comes to business as sport?

The Cowboys are and always will be my team, but I'm not riding this roller-coaster of disappointment anymore.

Not until this group gives me a reason to become emotionally invested in what they're doing again.

Right now, I'm apothetic.

Realistically, I believed we would be 4-4 at this point of the seaosn. The only two things that did not go as I figured was we lost to a Seatlle team that was better than I understood before the season, and we beat the Giants at their place and lost at home. I thought it would be the other way around.

From this point on, I felt we would go 6-2 and end up 10-6. I expected to lose on the the Eagles and probably the Steelers.

Now, we have to win one of those two games to be right where I thought we would be. Can we beat the Steelers? Sure. They barely squeezed by the Giants and they don't look all that impressive right now.

Can we sweep the Eagles? I believe we can.

I think 9-7 may win this division.

I expected 8-8 at best at first then after the seattle game I expected 6-10 so no suprise here. But you know one wild card is for sure the bears or packers that leaves only one and no way we get it. I say saints make a huge comeback and grab the remaining wild card!!! Seasons been over for a while now. These late losses are just for the homers so itll sink in.
2013 prediction: 7-9 / SB prediction Broncos beat seahawks.

I expected somewhere between 7-9 and 9-7. With the O-line they rolled out this season, they needed some breaks and great coaching to do any better. Predictably, neither has happened up to this point.

Well, at least I am not a quitter. That's what a lot of people here have done.

I think your hostilities are misguided.

Why 'hate' against fans who are upset by a perpetually disappointing team?

How is it their fault?

If you want to be mad at anybody, be mad at 'the folks who brought you 3-5'.

I don't see how scolding fans for being down and disgusted by a losing team helps.

Dude, acknowledging reality is not quitting.

And, BTW, there is no honor in blind optimism. Like your zeal, but blasting others who dont see it arent any lesser fans than you.

They've played the toughest schedule in the league and have the 30th toughest for the next 8 games

I do not, and will not expect much from this team until Garrett gets out of town. Ive seen enough from him from the past five years to know what he is all about. The light isnt any where close to clicking for him. Until he gets sent packing and some one with some cojones comes in, I expect the worst.

Why are you confusing being realistic about our chances with quitting?

Does anyone here actually want the team to lose 4 or 5 more games? Of course not. I imagine anyone who still takes the time to come to a message board about the Cowboys still wants to see them win.

But they are who their record says they are. And while I agree the schedule is getting a lot more favorable, especially with what I think is an imminent meltdown in Philly coming, its not like this team is just putting away bad teams like Tampa or Carolina either.

The fact is they are going to have to play much better, much more consistent and much more error free football then they have to date this season to run off 6 or 7 more wins this year. What exactly about Week 9 with this team makes them any different then who they were Week 8 or 7 or 6 when they were giving away football games they could have won?
