The standings say NO has the tiebreak because of strength of victory. What does that even mean?

We don't curl up and go into run-out-the-clock mode, either, if we didn't have the miscellaneous points, so you never know what might have happened.

We won that game, fairly convincingly, in PHI. It might not have cracked all the way open until the 4th quarter, but it was a good all-around game. I'm flabbergasted that a significant number of posters were unhappy with the complexion of the win.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

What has Michael Vick done this season to make you believe that?

Another way to look at that is opportunities to score points by the offense were limited by special teams and the defense doing it.

That gave the ball back to the Eagles' offense instead of putting ours on the field.

But I have to agree with you that our offense needs to do more with the opportunities it gets.

Well, the defensive and ST points count for sure; that's part of the game so the win is legit. However, there is no denying the offense has been anemic and bogged down. You can't win consistently in this league scoring 18pts per unless you have a very dominant defense and that doesn't happen much anymore not that it was frequent in the past.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

They won their games by a larger margin than we did?

I won't argue the point since this has gone on all year. We have to score more esp we need to improve that 40ish % TDs in the RZ. You have to score anymore and you have had to score 25+ for a long time in this league.

That's what they said on nfl network yesterday. I'm not too worried. 5 out of last 7 at home

I totally agree. The offense overall has let us down in a year where the defense is doing enough for this team to be contending.
