How about we just run the 4-3 and get it over with?

He is the antidote for West Coast Off's S.McCoy.....and a running M.Vick, and actualy would've been the antidote for the Giants big RB they parted ways with after last yr.
the kid ran down the Falcons WR last week.....damn,really thats near memorable as the Cowboys Allan OL running down the db on the INT yrs ago......

I dont think Ryan has anything to do with it. And Bruce is playing better than Lee ever has. I'm sorry. He is erasing guys whereas Lee would always hit a guy and they would still land forward.

Still anxious to see Carter blitzing or coming off the edge.
Simms has been a life saver with Lee down.

The Cowboys have been mediocre for A LONG TIME, and their offense still is (as well as their play-calling). BUT their defense is on the verge of greatness. I may be wrong, but Carter looks like a potential All-Pro to me. Ware and Lee already are. Imagine how good we'd be this season if we still had Lee and Church. We're missing two of our most important players on defense, we've got guys whose names I don't even know yet playing in our secondary, and we're still doing quite well.
Players get better under Ryan. Claiborne will get better. Church will continue to get better. Spencer will continue to get better. And Carter might become the next Dick Butkus.
[View Full Quote]Jerry, get a top-notch safety to play back there with Church, keep the rest of the defense in tact, hang on to Rob Ryan, and you won't need a great offense.

I'm really impressed with Carter, say what you want about Jerry being a bad GM but he got two "injured" but great ILB in consecutive drafts, props to JJ.

Sorry man, that nickname isn't gonna stick.
I like the "Brruuuuuuuce" thing though. Gonna do that next sunday when I'm at Cowboys stadium for the Browns game. And hopefully I'll be yelling it a lot.

Wow. Settle down.
Bruce has been amazing, but he hasn't peaked at Lee level yet.
Gettin' there though.

I never imagined Bruce would be where he is right now already.
He is flying around all over the place it's pretty crazy.
Can't wait for Lee to come back.

Holding my breath on contract talks. Hopefully we can get something done.

Bruce Carter. Diagnosed and destroyed this play.

Oh yeah...that is exactly what he looks like. Beast is a term I think is over-used, but Carter actually fits the description...throwing guys around like they're rag dolls. He's been the main reason I watch Cowboys games over the past few weeks.

I'm fine with my opinion and I love Lee. But it doesn't matter who is better. I just want more help on the dline to free them up even more.

Yeah I don't care who's better either. I just don't think Bruce has reached the top level of play that Lee has reached, but he sure is close.
Imagine when they're both back there healthy.
And yeah, a stud DL to allow them to run to the ball would be nice.
