I'm pretty sure he's just making fun of the french. That's what I would be doing anyways

And, just for the sake of arguing, whether the star started in the US or not, it has become an American symbol of sorts. There aren't 50 fleur de lis on the flag...

The Aint's won one Superbowl and suddenly everyone loves them and is on the bandwagon. For the majority of their existence people wore paper bags over their heads out of sheer embarrassment.

You can write ANY text you want - no one will agree to what is written

You can make the star as small as you want - no one will look at it like the Saints are bigger, better... anything more than Cowboys. For the Saints... its ONE year, ONE, just ONE year... that is all.
