Wrong time to post crap like this. Had your shot a few weeks ago.

Garrett is in denial about how mediocre our offense & QB are
Jimmy J said it best yesterday on the pre game show. You never tell the players or the fans what you are really thinking. I'm pretty sure even ole red has that much figured out. He knows the O Line stinks, he just cant say it.

Romo is the only constant on this team since he took over in 06. His ratings are constantly mid 90's and better. I think Emmit Smiths term of being a diamond surrounded by crap is pretty damn true in Romo's case unfortunately.

Now -- Eli Manning is not getting it done. 11 INT's 4 fumbles and four straight games of a declining QBR under 40.
Wow, this is like tugging on Superman's cape in here.

I'll tell you why--and I really like Dez--his negative plays are much more damaging than the amazing positive plays he's able to make. All the Jimmy Johnson fans we've got on the site right now should be able to tell you in detail what Jimmy had to say about avoiding the bad plays. When multiple scouts tell you the guy makes two-three bad sight adjustments *per game*, and your probowl QB starts looking in the other direction when Dez is uncovered, you know there's an issue there.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

I agree. And the same thing can be said about Romo.

He's not getting in done, Jason. You need to do something about it. The way you're doing it is producing a mediocre offense that repeatedly counts on an excellent defense to rescue it from loss.
He has to say that publicly no matter what he thinks. That doesn't mean he's in denial. It means he's not going to throw his players under the bus to say what some fans want to hear.

Depending how you assess the picks this season, you might have a point. Ordinarily, though, his ration of positive plays to negative ones, for the position he plays, is through the roof.

Terrible O-line; terrible clock management; terrible running game as a resultof the first. Romo's usually not the problem. In some games he blows it with too many turnovers. The constant in those games is throwing too much. We throw too much when our running game sucks. See how it's all inter-related?

The only benefit to this thread is I can add to my ignore list. Seems to be half of this board.

What is really mediocre is our fan base's knowledge of football.
