Default It's been said before but Marshall Faulk is a jerk

He just asked Irvin waht his favorite Hostess treat was and Irvin said Ding Dongs And Faulk said "I thought you would be a HO HO's man."

I really hate seeing Faulk's face on my TV.

EDIT: And dang, this should have been in the NFL zone I guess.

I hate Faulk, but that's actually pretty funny.

So are dirty jokes but there is a time and place for them. Highly inappropriate to do on national TV.

You must not watch much TV these days.

That's relatively tame.

Not at the expense of your colleagues reputation. Especially knowing his past.

I suppose, but I think Irvin has proven himself a changed person over the years...to anyone that matters, at least. I doubt anything Faulk could say would bother him.

Faulk will always take back seat to guys like Irvin, and he knows it. Hence his insecurity.

Agreed. Just thought it was a very low thing to say in his presence on TV. And you are right, Faulk is second or even third tier with respect to analysts.

If I was Michael I would have slapped the taste out of his mouth right there on national TV.

I have a TINY bit more respect for Marshall now. That's the most intelligent thing he's said in a long time.

There are a few people I will relentlessly email when the Cowboys finally win another Super Bowl. Faulk is near the top of the list.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

That's pretty funny and I'm sure Irvin could care less.

Faulk may be a jerk but I don't think insecure is an issue.

I doubt that was off the cuff. They probably rehearsed that line 20 times in rehearsals.
Polk County Florida Sheriff Grady Judd when asked why his Swat Team shot a suspected Cop Killer 68 times answered, "That's all the bullets we had."
